CANCELLATION POLICY

Users may cancel or reschedule a booking up to 24 hours before the start of the booking without penalty. Any bookings cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the start time are subject to a cancellation fee. A few things to note:

  • The cancellation fee applies to "no shows" as well.
  • Bookings scheduled 24 hours or less in advance are also subject to the cancellation fee.

Who determines the cancellation fee and how much is it?

Each provider sets their cancellation fee, so fees will vary.

How do I know what the fee is?

The cancellation fee is shown on the provider’s profile page on the app. You will also be reminded of the cancellation fee when creating a new booking or canceling a booking less than 24 hours before the start time.

How do I avoid paying the cancellation fee?

It’s easy! Make changes or cancel a booking in the "My Bookings" section of the app 24 hours or more before your booking begins. It only takes 2 clicks.

What happens if my child wakes up sick the morning of a booking?

Each provider will have their own individual sick child policy, so please call the provider the morning of your booking if you have a question about whether or not to drop your child off. Bringing a sick child will result in your child being sent home immediately and you will not receive a refund.

What happens if a provider cancels a booking on me?

Every now and then a provider may have an unforeseen circumstance that results in the cancellation of a booking. In the rare instance this happens, the user will receive a full refund and Yaycare will do everything we can to help you find another provider. Just email us!
